So far so good, I've heard people say these pumps fail quickly but I have had it for 2 months without issue so far. Mostly quiet for the money it cost.

I love these pumps, I have 9 in service from DC3000 up to DC12000 and they all work like a charm!

This pump is awesome! Well at least for now, I don't know for the long run cuz I've only had it for a few weeks. It's a powerful pump and with the controller, feed option, and ramp mode makes it even better. I have it on my 150 gallon reef tank as a return pump. Very quiet pump even when everything is off and produces no heat from the pump. Hopefully it will last for a few years which is my only concern.

Great pump. This pump is returning water from my sump that is located in my basement to my display tank on my main floor and also running an algae scrubber at the same time and only have it at about 70%

This replaced an older single speed and it's a better pump and it's controllable.

I have had many internal pumps over the years, this one by far is the best. Quiet, slow start, powerful and energy efficient and cost effective. I am running this on a 180g w/ 55g sump and 3 inline TLF150 reactors. 2 - 1" drains, 2- .75" and 1- .50" returns with many foot of head. Still not at max speed. 200g or above get the DCT15000.
